Hi! I’m Yadi and as a Multimedia Content Specialist, I make all sorts of content that communicates a goal or story. Whether through graphic illustrations, online videos, social media or accessible website design, I believe storytelling is one of the strongest ways to share a message.
In 2020, I graduated from La Salle University with a B.A. in Digital Art & Multimedia Design and a minor in Art History. I grew up in a single-parent home with two other siblings. We mostly spoke Spanish and because of this had a difficult time finding certain resources. I’ve always loved the arts but I often didn’t have the knowledge or ability to take a class or learn a new technique. But the internet and technology have been able to change this! Now more than ever we can connect to experts, other students and friends in an instant. There are so many free sources available online.
Whether digitally or traditionally, I’m always looking for ways to tell stories and to help increase accessibility in the arts. I keep this in mind for any project I accept and manage. This is why projects like my YouTube channel are important to me. It’s my way of offering free art tips and lessons to those who may need it. Taking on an art hobby can help with one’s wellness which is why I aim to make watercolors feel as attainable as possible for anyone. If you’d like to find out more about this, click here.
